Before my eleven eye surgeries, when I was nearly blind and had to ware thick glasses, my wife used to tell people...
The last thing Lan does at night is kiss me, turn out the light and lay his glasses on the bed table. In the morning the first thing Lan does is put on his glasses, so he can be sure when he kisses me it is not Rahab (our dog!).
